      The upper lid margin normally covers the pupils by 1-2 mm when standing or sitting upright.
      The upper eyelid ptosis occurs when this upper lid margin descends and covers the pupil.
      There are many causes for this, such as loosening or dysfunction levator muscle and aponeurosis.
